Latonya Ann Harris, 40, and Terrence Washington, 41, who hailed from Thibodaux, Louisiana, were held for several violent charges after a traffic crash in Baytown, Texas, on April 20. In the backseat of the car, the police found a 15-year-old victim badly burned and shot multiple times. After a probe, US authorities found the teenage victim suffered severe injuries at the hands of her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. “Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet has confirmed the arrest of a Thibodaux couple in connection with an Attempted Murder investigation, which was discovered during a traffic-related investigation by the Baytown Police Department, in Texas,” Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) said in a statement released on May 15.
